We’re now in July and so it is time to look back at updates from one of our favourite sectors. Cruise industry news Jun 2022 includes a look at Seatrade Cruise Med, the next major cruise event of the year. Seatrade Cruise Med, Sep 14-15 2022

Taking place in Malaga, STC Med 2022 is set to address “relevant issues and trends in an engaging environment.”

This year’s theme is “Steering Change Together”, with sessions including:

- Redefining Luxury Cruising
- The Changing Geography of the Med

LNG-Powered Disney Wish Delivered By Meyer Werft

This Seatrade Cruise News piece looks at Disney’s first new ship in 10 years.

The LNG-powered vessel was given a ceremony in Bremerhaven. The Disney Cruise Line flag was raised and Meyer Werft then received a commemorative Cinderella statuette.

Following the ceremony, Disney Wish then set off for a new home at Port Canaveral.

Machine learning facilitates the flow of reservation data into the data repository. It weighs patterns against target booking curves and learns from customer behaviour.
