On Monday, Seatrade Cruise News published this article on Virgin Voyages’ third ship. Resilient Lady is scheduled to debut in Piraeus in Greece next summer, offering two 7-night itineraries.
The second Virgin ship to sail the Mediterranean, it will call at Santorini, Rhodes, Crete and then overnight in Mykonos. An Adriatic route will then include Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu and Argostoli.

This article from Cruise Industry News offers an update on our good friends at Norwegian Cruise Lines. In it, they revealed details of an unaffected order book. NCLH also confirmed that it has not sold any of its ships as a result of the pandemic.
Last year, Norwegian admitted that they expected delays in newbuild deliveries due to the effects of COVID-19. As yet, this has not happened, giving something of a boost to the industry as a whole.
This week, Breaking Travel News published an update on a restart for English cruise lines. Maritime minister Robert Courts addressed the All-Party Parliamentary Maritime & Group at a virtual meeting. He confirmed that cruise lines are expected to begin domestic voyages from English ports on May 17th.
For anyone interested in cruise, this is fantastic news that once again demonstrates the resilience of the industry.
