The latest edition of the ICEbreaker from ICE Technology Services – part of theICEway ecosystem of companies – looks at Cruise tech trends for this year, malware attacks and also includes a very interesting piece on an investigation into cruise ships being described as ‘floating petri dishes’ following the outbreak of Coronavirus.
We also welcome Angel Moledo as our newly appointed President of theICEway USA, who is going to be leading our US operation in the US cruise and travel market. Angel has previously worked with AT&T, Royal Caribbean and Oceania and is something of a cruise industry expert - making him a perfect fit!
At this moment we are all working very hard to prepare for Seatrade Cruise Global 2020 in Miami next month, which is still set to go ahead at the time of writing. It’s a potentially huge event for us as Richie and Conor plan to unveil some exciting developments, plus Richie is also an ambassador on Tech Day on April 21st – fingers crossed that we all get some good news on COVID-19 in the coming days…
