As any fan of IT will attest, quantum technology is a very exciting development. Most computers we use today process data in bits. Bits have a binary value of either zero or one. Quantum computers however use a two-state unit called a qubit. Qubits have the ability to represent digits such as one or zero at the same time. Quantum computers can therefore bridge binary digits, potentially solving long-standing PC problems in just minutes.
That’s right; pending final regulatory approval, ‘Prime Air’ deliveries will begin in just a few months’ time. The drones do not have to be controlled by an observer, rather using sensors to avoid collision. Whatever your views are, this is certainly an innovative move! But is it a flight of fancy…?
Subsequent feedback has reported ‘reduced anxiety and better sleep’ amongst the participants. This is another fine example of technological innovation at work. Do you use VR headsets? What are your experiences of the effects they can have?
