IBM Unveils An Advanced “Quantum” Processor

Another story from the BBC, this is well worth a read for those interested in IT. It remains to be seen whether or not IBM’s claims will prove significant but their new chip has twice as many “qubits” as their previous processor (127). Qubits – aka Quantum bits – are essentially the most basic information units in a quantum computer.
