ICEbreaker, October 2019

by Asa Sargeant | November 6, 2019 | | 0 Comments

Welcome to the latest edition of our regular newsletter, the ICEbreaker, which this month features articles from Computer Weekly, Phocuswire, the BBC, Cruise Critic, Travel Weekly and both ICE Technology Services and CRIBB Cyber Security.

Some of topics covered in this issue include Facebook’s plans for encryption, A/I ships, Japanese cruise ports and two subjects very close to our own hearts; namely, the NCSC’s long-term partnership with the IASME Consortium and this month’s International Cruise Summit in Madrid.

You can actually meet the founders of theICEway, the ecosystem powering ICE Technology Services, CRIBB Cyber Security and eTestware, Ian Richardson (Richie) and Conor Byrne, at the aforementioned ICS 2019 if you happen to be there but if not, you can always read a short but (hopefully) entertaining conversation between the two inside this month’s ICEbreaker...

Contact us to request the October 2019 edition of the ICEbreaker from ICE Technology Services, part of theICEway ecosystem.

In the coming months we will be looking to make some changes to the ICEbreaker, as we seek to move away from the exclusive cultivation of external articles which tap into topics we find of interest. Instead, we will be looking to our own experts for their insights, and hopefully you will find what they say to be of equal interest to those writing on behalf of the BBC or Travel Weekly!
