Born as ICE in 2007, our ecosystem of companies has thrived in the last 15 years. One reason for that is the people at theICEway, a dedicated group that contains team members who have been with us since day 1. Today then, we look at our greatest asset.
ICE is many things; a UK Managed Service Provider (MSP) with international reach. A technology consultancy for clients around the world in cruise, travel and healthcare (predominantly). ICE adopts a security by design approach via CRIBB Cyber Security. We’re huge proponents of software testing through our eTestware brand. But theICEway as a whole is nothing without the people who make up our global team.
From our 1st line service desk engineers to our co-founders, everybody pulls together to deliver results for our clients. Lots of companies speak highly of their employees and we are no different. However, we’re delighted to say that our employees also speak very highly of theICEway.

Many of our team have spent well over a decade with us. This in itself is a huge testament to the amazing family spirit cultivated by Ian Richardson and Conor Byrne. The pair founded ICE together in 2007 and they are just as passionate about the company now.

Recently, we announced that theICEway was a finalist at this year’s biz4Biz awards. Members of the team attended an amazing awards ceremony, where we were surrounded by Hertfordshire’s brightest and best. Having won for Best Technology Services Provider in 2019, our hopes were high. Unfortunately, we did not win this time around but we’ll be back and were just delighted to be involved again.
The people at theICEway are truly our greatest asset. Through their hard work, we have transformed from a local IT company into a global technology services provider. We’re often seen as being the go-to organisation for the cruise industry and that is something we are all very proud of.
