For more than 12 years we have become known as the leading specialist technology consultancy and managed service provider to the cruise and ferry industry, plus we also have clients in travel and healthcare as well.
We have offices in Australia, the USA and throughout Europe, all supporting our worldwide client base with guidance on technology, 24/7 outsourced infrastructure support and project management amongst other services.
We pride ourselves in taking an unbiased approach, seeing ourselves as enablers working very much in conjunction with our clients and together bringing the best out of one another. Our co-founders, Ian and Conor, are both highly experienced (which you can see in their mini-bios further below) and recognise that just because a solution brings one client success, there is no guarantee that it will do the same for someone else. We are therefore dedicated to establishing exactly what each and every client is looking for and what the best methodology will be to help then get there, effectively remaining as agile as possible throughout the entire process.

CRIBB is the cyber security arm of TheICEway and is an official certification body backed by the UK government. eTestware provides outsourced software testing services to the highest standards of quality and performance at a very reasonable price and by trained, professional experts. Our services include functional testing, performance testing, security testing, usability testing, blockchain testing and compatibility testing.
TheICEway also consists of AI/VR and ICE Rapid Development; the former revolves around key future technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality, which will become increasingly more important in digital strategies, whilst our development arm offers best-in-class service from over 300 developers, UX analysts, cloud experts and system integration architects.
Ian Richardson
Ian began life as an IT manager in the cruise industry over 20 years ago, before then moving on to set up TheICEway alongside Conor Byrne in 2007. Created to be an ecosystem of companies that includes ICE Technology Services, eTestware and CRIBB Cyber Security, TheICEway has developed into a leading managed service provider and specialist technology consultancy in the cruise and travel industries.
Conor Byrne
Conor was an IT and business consultant before starting TheICEway with Ian Richardson. He has been at the forefront of the technological industry for nearly 30 years and truly understands the value of IT for businesses. He also appreciates though that what works for one company does not always work for another, which is reflected in TheICEway’s approach of always focusing on what clients need from us in order to succeed.
