biz4Biz winner 2019!

by ICE ICT Editor | June 18, 2019 | General News & Events | 0 Comments

We are very proud to have won the Best Technology Services Provider award this year. We couldn't have done it without the fantastic team we have here - thank you everyone.

Our CEO, Ian Richardson, collected this auspicious award from journalist and newsreader Fiona Bruce at the award ceremony held last month at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel. The third annual event was a real night for celebration, with Barclay's as the main sponsor and the aforementioned Fiona Bruce on hosting duties.

The Gala dinner paid honour to local Hertfordshire businesses with an evening of magic and music as guests from local charities, members of the biz4Biz business network and the sponsors of the event all enjoyed the proceedings.

The biz4Biz awards are impartial and open to all businesses located in Hertfordshire. Voting is conducted online, and those companies situated amongst the top 20 positions once voting is over are all invited to a judging day.

The key objective for biz4Biz is to provide a voice for Hertfordshire businesses and to encourage investment in the area. They promote the county in both a business and a domestic capacity, attempting to influence policymaking with local and central government, local organisations and relevant public sector bodies.

biz4Biz is a not-for-profit company.

theICEway was born in Welwyn Garden City, the brainchild of Richardson and Conor Byrne, and our HQ is located there to this day - albeit in a different building!

We have always been very proud of our status as a local company and so this award meant that little bit more to us - of course, the fact that it was voted for by the public also made us all the more appreciative.

As we have grown, so too has our team and our product and service offering, so much so in fact that we now have offices located around the world, from Europe to the USA via Australia. So, whilst we do still view theICEway as a local company, it has certainly developed quite the global reach.
