The year is advancing quickly and it is already time for our regular round-up of cruise updates. The team at ICE have spent most of their working lives in the industry and therefore have a real passion for it. It has been a severely testing period but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Without further ado, here is your cruise industry news, April 2021.
Cruise Lines Announce More Restarts
This report from Cruise Industry News features restart updates from the likes of NCLH and Virgin. It’s fantastic to hear that 12 more cruise ships and 18,954 berths are set to re-enter the cruise market in the coming months. Viking start the proceedings in June, with 2 ships offering cruises to Bermuda and Iceland. Norwegian will restart in late July with 3 ships cruising to Europe and the Caribbean. August will see Virgin’s hugely-anticipated Scarlet Lady sailing around the UK.
Top British Isles Cruises For 2021
With domestic cruising due to begin from May 17th, many people are clamouring to return to the sea. It is more positive news for the industry as a whole, and this week Cruise Critic shared their pick of the various round-Britain cruises on offer. Celebrity Cruises, Hurtigruten, MSC, P&O, Saga Cruises and Virgin Voyages are just some of the options available. Regardless of which cruise line you opt for, isn’t it just nice to be thinking about an imminent departure?
