In the very first IT panel, theICEway's Ian Richardson acted as a moderator. He was joined by Luca Pronzati from MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean Group's Jay Schneider. They discussed the continuing importance of IT in the cruise industry. Richardson laid out the day ahead for the attendees and acknowledged the hugely positive atmosphere: "It's very exciting times for the cruise industry because we're finally getting back into service with bookings flowing in after the last two years".
This panel was moderated by Stan Schmal, Director of Data Analytics Consulting for LHIND US. He was joined Kellay Buckelew from Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., Royal Caribbean Group's Matthew Denesuk, Holland America Line's John Harvey and MSC Cruises' Francesco Pugliese.
Together they looked at the critical role data and data analysis plays in the cruise industry.
The moderator for this panel was none other than Conor Byrne, Co-founder of theICEway. He presided over a discussion on the ever-growing importance cloud technology plays in the cruise industry. He was joined by Daniele Buonaiuto from MSC Cruises, Ole-Marius Moe-Helgeson from Hurtigruten Group and Disney Cruise Line's Paul Scusa.
Conor Byrne was again on moderator duty for this panel on the role that medical systems play on board cruise ships. Joining him were Andrew Carricarte from Tritan Software Corporation and Bruno Sicard from Ponant.
