Introducing our new Service Delivery Analyst: Meet Cristian

Reflecting our growth ambitions theICEway has recruited a new service delivery analyst Cristian Martinez to the team. Cristian’s focus is on working processes, improving automation, and readability of complex reports, his new role is constantly evolving as Cristian takes on new challenges.

Get to know Cristian as he answers a few questions.

Previous role: Digital Assistant at Topdeck Travel

Fondest memory in your previous role?

Topdeck’s employees get a free tour every year to almost any destination the company reaches. I had the opportunity to go to Japan for almost 3 weeks, getting to know the customers and the real value the company offers. It was a great experience that gave me an extra appreciation for the travel industry.

What key skills do you bring to theICEway?

I strongly believe that anything can be achieved with a positive mental attitude and a strong work ethic, and I have both in abundance.

Best characteristics?

Determination and persistence.

How have your first couple of days at theICEway been?

They have been amazing! I got to know a lot of amazing people who have helped me a lot with everything I needed so far. I had the luck to meet most of them at the Christmas party. I have also started very interesting projects in this time, so I can say I started on the right footing.

What has been the best thing about theICEway so far?

The best thing has been the people. All very nice, very friendly, very supportive. There is a wealth of talent and quality in all departments.

What do you hope to achieve in your first year?

As my role is constantly evolving, I am constantly finding new goals and things to be achieved. However, the priority is to learn about how the different departments are interconnected, as well as to learn about the cloud. My Computer Science degree and this knowledge will allow me to progress into a more technical role within the company.

Favourite memory ever or over the last 5 years?

Over the last 5 years, my life has changed drastically, starting a new life in a different country and learning a new language. From this period, my favourite memory it was when I received my university acceptance letter. I felt extremely proud of myself and got the motivation needed at the time.

Favourite movie and why?

Inception is my top pick! Nolan's mind-bending story, stunning visuals, and DiCaprio's brilliance make it a timeless favourite. The exploration of dreams and reality, coupled with Leonardo DiCaprio's brilliant performance, makes it a movie I can watch over and over, discovering something new each time.
